A Message from Carol

Carol &

While on the way to my “creative place” . . .

Welcome to Artistic Elements. I look forward to sharing portraits in oil and graphite, figurative work, abstract/contemporary pieces, along with a blog, new ebooks, and links to sites of other creative artists and people who inspire and motivate.

We are back to the creation process of this site, so please pardon our dust while we work to bring you lots of “artistic elements.”

Growing up in a northern suburb of Chicago, becoming an artist and writer was my dream. There were trips to galleries, the Chicago Art Institute,Seventies Selfie drawing and painting classes, and working as an apprentice in art studios along Michigan Avenue, where I could peer over the shoulders of gifted artists.  I remained a “closet artist” for many years, while raising a family, working as a graphic artist, and later a communications director, writing corporate copy.

But having the ability to create art and communicate as a writer is such a special gift from God. I cherish that gift and am now  passionate about designing a life where I can live, work and play in my “creative place.”

I hope you’ll join me and get in touch. Whether you are a creative person, a “closet artist,” or just an appreciator of all kinds of art. My goal is that you’ll find it here.

To Your Life and Health: My other new website is www.wealtheliving.com. Helping others to lead a healthy, prosperous life is also a passion of mine. In October 2014, I started taking MMF – Military Micronutrient Formulation, from Engage Global. MMF is “micronutrients in precise quantities that trigger the body’s restorative powers to repair human DNA.” MMF works. I experienced a major energy boost, faster healing, better complexion, less inflammation, and an overall great feeling. Being a cancer survivor,  finding a product – with an amazing story – that works to repair at the cellular level … well I was all in.

Join me on Facebook at ArtisticElements and Wealtheliving , and on Twitter at ArtisticElements and Wealtheliving, also Pinterest, and Instagram. I look forward to connecting with you. Thanks for taking the time to browse.

“Be brave enough to live life creativelyThe creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you’re doing. What you’ll discover will be wonderful−what you’ll discover will be yourself.”
